CARE

Education is not just about curriculum and programs; it is about PEOPLE. I truly love people. I will work to know the people and needs in the schools that I represent. As I make decisions as an ASD Board member, I will remember those whom I represent and the boundless potential of our students.

COLLABORATE

I look forward to collaborating with stakeholders in creating educational opportunities across Alpine School District. Together we will serve all students as we strive to help them achieve educational excellence. As the African proverb states, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

COMMUNICATE

Open and honest communication along with operational transparency are key to building trust and working relationships. As your representative I will make sure that opportunities, challenges, information, data, and possibilities are clearly communicated allowing you to maximize your part in public education.

ADVOCATE

Education is not one size fits all. Every student has different learning needs and abilities. Along with general education, I believe that providing a wide variety of learning opportunities for students through specialty curriculums such as STEM, PE, and the arts provides opportunities for kids to grow, learn, and develop their individual talents and passions that help them to advance academically. When kids get to participate in things they are interested in, they want to go to school. When they go to school because they want to be there, they advance and grow academically. I will listen to and advocate on behalf of the constituents and schools I represent. I want to help build a place where students can grow and excel, and families can feel comfortable sending their children.
